Camden Simon
Earned a Bachelors from the University of Tennessee with a dual major in Theatre and Chemistry, after which he has worked professionally in theatre for 18 years as a freelance designer with over 400 projects realized. This includes theatrical and ballet productions and a great quantity of corporate, concert, and festival events to his credit. His professional portfolio also includes extensive experience as Technical Director and Production Management as well lighting designs for Theatrical, Ballet, Concert / Event, Corporate as well as for permanent and architectural installations. Additionally, he has taught masterclasses as a guest artist at several Universities and continues to present on new topics in technical design and direction at industry conventions. He is currently in residence with the Oak Ridge Playhouse in Oak Ridge, Tennessee as the Technical Director and Production Manager.

Design credits range from classical ballet and modern dance to dramatic theatre to concert and event design. A significant focus of theatrical design is Musical Theatre and Ballet. In addition, he has opened several newly designed Architectural and Stage Lighting Systems for new and renovated facilities.

Professional artistic credits include designs for Oak Ridge Playhouse, Cumberland County Playhouse, Pellissippi State (guest artist), North Greenville University Theatre (guest artist and master classes), Flying Anvil Theatre Company, Abbington Players, Actors Coop, Knoxville Little Theatre, Allington Playhouse, Strange Fruit Productions, Tin Soldier Productions, Ballet Gloria, Centre Modern Dance Company, Appalachian Dance Company, Salt and Light Ballet, Birmingham Ballet, with concert and event designs for Dirty Guv'ners, Antje Duvekot, Jonas Sees In Color, Corey Smith with Florida Georgia Line, Clay Page, Clemson Will-to-Lead Campaign, City of Greenville (SC), Millidgeville Fall Festival, Southeastern Tourism Bureau, State Farm, City of Abbeville, and numerous other music and corporate events and festivals. In addition to production based design, his design credits include permanent-install architectural event lighting systems.
